Dr. Taheri is certified specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. He was raised in northern California. He did his under-graduate work at U.C. Berkeley. He received his Dental Degree from U.C. San Francisco School of Dentistry, which is number one ranked Dental school in the country. By then he could have started practicing as a general dentist, however he continued to complete three years of additional post-doctoral training at U.C. San Francisco; Oakland Children Hospital and San Francisco General Hospital to become a certified specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Taheri is highly trained in all aspects of pediatric Dentistry such as behavioral management, conscious sedation and Dental restoration under General Anesthesia. He has published several articles in peer reviewed professional journals. Also, he is an active member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry; California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and California Dental Association.
