About us
Medicine with care. Welcome to Shield medical group, the office of Kulmeet Kundlas. I have been serving Central Florida for the last 22 years. I completed my medical school India and then immigrated to the United States. I finished residency at New York Methodist Hospital Brooklyn New York in 1997 and started my practice Lake Wales, Florida. I was very fortunate that Dr. Sukumar Mathan joined my practice later on. We served our patients with head, heart, and hands. We provided them evidence-based care timely and compassionately. Our practice grew from Lake Wales to Winter Haven and Haines City. We had Hospital affiliations with Lake Wales Medical center, Winter Haven Hospital and heart of Florida regional medical center.
