About us
Dr. Patel received his medical doctorate from University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Allergy & Immunology fellowship at University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, where he served as a chief fellow in his final year of training. Dr. Patel is board-certified in Internal Medicine as well as Allergy & Immunology.
Throughout his training, Dr. Patel participated in clinical research as a sub-investigator for various asthma, food allergy, chronic urticaria/angioedema, chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps, and atopic dermatitis studies. Dr. Patel has published articles in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: In Practice, International Archives of Allergy and Immunology, and the World Allergy Organization website. Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
