Smriti Gupta, MD, is a family medicine physician specializing in primary care with a focus on women’s health, mental health and illness prevention. She offers specialized treatments including IUD placement and removal, Nexplanon placement and removal, trigger point injections and major joint injections. Her clinical interests include contraceptive care and preventive medicine.

Dr. Gupta takes a comprehensive approach to patient care, believing that sustainable health plans should incorporate cultural background, medications and non-medication therapies. She partners with patients to keep them healthy and out of the hospital, emphasizing personalized treatment strategies that consider all aspects of wellbeing. Her practice focuses on preventive care and evidence-based treatments to support long-term wellness.

Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Gupta recently moved to Phoenix after being raised in the Midwest. She enjoys playing with her cats, hiking, cooking delicious food and playing board games with her friends and her husband.
