About us

Soay Corbett, DNP, FNP-C is a certified family nurse practitioner specializing in primary care and family medicine at MUSC Health Primary Care Daniel Island. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from The Medical University of South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in child and family sciences from The Florida State University and Bachelor’s degree in nursing from The Adventist University of Health Sciences. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a nurse for seven years in the pediatric cardiac ICU. She grew up in Florida and moved to Charleston in 2018. Soay is focused on treating the person as a whole and is eager to treat the entire family. Her interests include preventative care and wellness, chronic disease management, acute visits, women’s health, mental health, pediatric visits and more. She enjoys seeing new patients and hopes to build a relationship with them for many years to come. Soay loves to develop a meaningful relationship with her patients through a partnership focusing on each of their individual healthcare goals. She will serve as a coordinator for her patient’s care through the many MUSC Health specialists as needed and she enjoys learning about each patient and their family to help guide individual healthcare needs.
