The Soma Matha Spiritual Center is directed by Gananathamritananda Swamiji. We offer a variety of services here at Soma Matha, such as weekly Yoga, Mantra and Ayurveda classes, as well as Puja, Ayurveda, and Astrological services. Below are descriptions of our Puja and Ayurveda services.

Puja (Prayer) Services:
Puja is an ancient Vedic science of healing. It helps people to overcome problems which are otherwise impossible to address because it resolves problems at their spiritual root addressing the karmas which influence a person's destiny. Puja purifies the atmosphere in the place where it is conducted and helps to remove negative energy from one's aura while it uplifts consciousness toward peace, happiness, and spiritual sight. Puja can help address illness, mental illness, troubles with work, relationships, children, finances, ghosts, black magic and other issues.

Swamiji used to offer a range of pujas. To make things simple, he now asks people to describe their problems or desires and then determines what mantras are most suitable for the individual. Each puja requires several hours for preparation and clean up. Puja may be conducted at Swamiji's place, at your home, or at your office. Pujas can be conducted distantly over phone or skype, in which case prasad (blessed items) will be mailed to your address.

Traditional Samskaras (Vedic Rites) are available for Hindus upon request.

Ayurveda Services:
Ayurveda is the ancient Vedic system of Healing. Ayurveda is a wholistic system which addresses the body, mind, and soul. It helps people get to the root of health concerns by addressing issues with the diet, lifestyle, work, relationships, and other activities. Ayurveda uses herbs, dietary changes, lifestyle changes, prayers, spiritual practices, and body work to help a person restore balance and promote health and longevity.

Swamiji's student, Kevin Decamp, offers Ayurvedic consultations, herbal recommendations, and spiritual counseling to the public to support people in their efforts to maintain health and mental peace. We still have several positions available for internships for Ayurvedic body work and herbal preparation.

Ayurvedic Bodywork We offer Ayurvedic body work like abhyanga, shirodhara, kati basti, shiro basti, netra tarpanam, pinda, swedana, and panchakarma. At the moment, we do not have women trained and therefor cannot offer a full range of Ayurvedic bodywork to women. Contact us to learn more...
