Southern Salt Charters is operated by 3rd generation cedar key famly, Capt. Danny Allen. Capt. Danny grew up on his dads and uncles commercial fishing boats learning the ways of the waters. He has competed and won several pro style redfish events with his brother. Capt. Danny has been featured on several national fishing shows. “fishing with Bill Miller” “one more cast with Shaw Grisby” “ Florida Sportsfishing with John Brownlee” “ fishing the natures coast with capt William Toney and “ Reel Animals with capt Mike Anderson! He now has his own show called Beyond the Surface TV. He has been in seminars all over the state speaking about Cedar Key Fishing and Conservation. He fishes out of a new 2023 27th Dek Kat!!
