About us
Dr. Tolan specializes in Sports Medicine and advanced arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and elbow. He also has expertise in shoulder and elbow replacement surgery, including reverse total shoulder replacement. He received his undergraduate degree from Wofford College and medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he also completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Tolan completed his fellowship training at the Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Jackson. He has a special interest in treating endurance athletes, and he is an Ironman triathlon finisher.
