About us

Dr. Stephen Cha is the director of the Pediatric Hypertension clinic, Interim Director for the Division of Nephrology and a pediatric nephrologist at Akron Children’s. He earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio Dr. Cha completed a pediatrics residency at Akron Children’s and pediatric nephrology fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology. Dr. Cha is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology and American Society of Nephrology.
