About us
Sugarloaf Wellness Center is an extension of Perisseia Primary Care and Wellness, a Family Practice originally founded by David W. Kunz MD in 1988. Dr. Kunz has always believed in taking care of the “whole person, body, soul, and spirit”. “The core philosophy is expressed in a single word: “Perisseia”. This is the Biblical Greek word for “Abundance”, as in “Abundant Life”. (John 10:10). Dr. Kunz seeks this for himself and desires to be a facilitator for others to achieve this as well. The Wellness Center starts with yet goes beyond mainstream traditional medicine to offer services to help patients and clients to achieve higher and more satisfactory levels of health and well-being.
