About us
The Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association (SCVA) is a membership organization dedicated to promoting tourism and supporting the tourism industry in the Sullivan Catskills region of New York. Founded in the 19th century, the SCVA has played a key role in attracting visitors to the area for over a century.
Today, the SCVA works to connect businesses in the Sullivan Catskills, including hotels, bed & breakfasts, restaurants, gift shops, and cultural events, to visitors and potential customers. By providing marketing solutions, networking opportunities, and advocacy for its members, the SCVA helps to grow small businesses and enhance the visitor experience in the region.
The SCVA's efforts have contributed to the Sullivan Catskills' enduring popularity as a vacation destination, attracting families, couples, and friends seeking outdoor adventure, cultural enrichment, and small-town charm. Through its various initiatives and partnerships, the SCVA continues to promote the unique assets and experiences that make the Sullivan Catskills a premier getaway destination in New York State.
