The story of Summit Mortgage Corporation is a story about people. It began with two people and the idea that putting people first is a foundation for long-term success. This idea led to a company model that was designed around the customer experience; a concept which allows our staff to focus on providing the one-on-one personal relationship with customers that was absent at the large banks that dominated the market at the time. While working in the financial services industry, Robert and Diana Carter’s desire to have a much more personal experience for their clients without sacrificing stability, expertise and technology wasn’t found at the companies they worked for; so they decided to start their own.
