In 1967 our founder, Roscoe Towne, started Syracuse Label Company, Inc. with little more than an old two-color Mark Andy flexo press and an entrepreneurial spirit. Today, we still live by his philosophy....... By going the extra mile.......... ?getting ISO 9001-2008 registered ?offering a quality system second to none in the industry ?staying on top of technology by purchasing the very best equipment the industry has to offer in both pre-press and press-room ?initiating a training program so extensive that it is continuously ongoing and updated to meet and exceed the high standards we have set for ourselves ...or two... ?converted to LEAN manufacturing in 2006 reducing changeover time from 90 minutes to 40 minutes on average. ?focusing on Green initiatives such as- eliminating solvent based inks, increased use of UV ink technologies, Closed loop cooling systems, recycling in every possible situation, and identifying new solutions for our manufacturing process that are environmentally sensitive. ..........we are able to live up to our philosophy. ?Year in and year out we are recognized with top printing awards both nationally and internationally, and ship our products globally with the utmost confidence and pride. ?We welcome you to our website and invite you to contact us to discuss your label and flexible packaging needs with our experienced staff. ?We even changed our name to Syracuse Label & Surround Printing to better communicate to our customers that we produce not only pressure sensitive labels, but also many structures that may surround your products ?Employee owned since November 2007
