About us
Tamra Thompson, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of nursing experience, including six years as an APRN. She provides comprehensive, evidence-based care in primary care and addiction medicine across outpatient and urgent care settings. Tamra specializes in chronic disease management, preventative health, and behavioral health integration. She serves as Regional Director for the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives (Danville region), advocating for advanced practice providers. Her DNP work focused on reducing stigma and improving provider education around opioid use disorder. Tamra is certified in BLS, ACLS, and holds DEA licensure.
