TBT Barter Company opened its doors in the summer of 2008. Its founder, Michael Finnegan, had more than a decade of experience within the barter industry when he set his mind to undertake a terribly underserved element in the Philadelphia and South Jersey market: the absence of any local barter exchange options. From cold calling out of his small home office, he signed up his first member on August 14th, 2008. One by one he continued to grow the company, currently with the help of other employees, to where TBT Barter boasts hundreds of members in the Philadelphia and South Jersey areas.

Now headquartered in Cherry Hill, NJ, from humble beginnings, it has become one of the largest, most respected, and fastest-growing barter companies on the East Coast. Working with hundreds of businesses, it offsets their business and personal expenses while moving their excess inventory, time, and space, among other things, to new customers. Our goal is to help small businesses grow, be more efficient, and increase their cash flow—all through barter.
