TEN YEARS AGO.... Justine and I wanted to do a leadership scholarship for South Salem HS as a way to honor an amazing teacher, Kathy August. Working with Kathy, we put together the Saxon Servant Leadership Scholarship. The goal was to honor two students that were "SERVING TO THE POINT WHERE OTHERS CAN'T HELP BUT FOLLOW." This year's amazing winners were Sadie Patterson and Gibson Hanowell. Thank you Kathy for being such a great and loving example for our community of what real servant leadership looks like... It was nice to have her give some love to former Saxon and student... Heath... she asked if he has grown 😉

We were just at the Friends and Family night at the new Bo & Vine next to Northern Lights... it's just crazy flavorful and amazing. This is a great place to use up all your daily calorie needs. Thank Mike, Katrina and the whole Adams family,,, great to see a lot of other small businesses there too. On the way out we saw Eleazar and Cynthia from Bison!
