About Dr. WeinheimerKent Weinheimer, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon offering expert care for patients at Texas Orthopedic and Hand Specialist in Amarillo, Texas. He takes an active role in orthopedic research, has presented his results nationally, and has been published in the leading orthopedic and hand journals. Dr. Weinheimer grew up in Fredericksburg, Texas, in a cattle-ranching family. He received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University in 2007 and his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern in 2013.
