Dr. Khetpal is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is licensed in Texas and Oklahoma. He is affiliated with Texoma Medical Center, Denison TX, a leader in medical care in the area. Dr. Khetpal is fellowship trained in retinal and vitreous diseases. He began his training at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and continued his medical education at Vanderbilt University. He graduated from Vanderbilt in 2006 with honors and pursued his residency in Ophthalmology at Brown University in Rhode Island. Because of his passion for studying the posterior segment of the eye, Dr. Khetpal pursued a retinal fellowship program at University of Florida in 2010. He completed a his training in retinal and vitreous diseases from the University of Florida in July 2012. This training involved medical and surgical treatment of retina and vitreous disorders such as diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration.
Because he began his training at Southeastern Oklahoma University, Dr. Khetpal decided to come practice in the greater Texoma area. Dr. Khetpal is the only full time ophthalmologist specializing in retina from Dallas to Oklahoma City. He is now available to see retina patients at any of the four clinic locations.
