If you are experienced and savvy when it comes to purchasing an RV and you can smell lies coming from a salesman, then you might be fine working with Thatcher RV. If it’s your first RV purchase, if you have any questions that you need honest information from Thatcher RV to help you, trust me you will be lied to. They are dishonest and only care about the sale. They will say whatever they can to get you into a vehicle and get that vehicle off of their lot. Then it’s your problem. I learned the hard way. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I will never go back there, not even for toilet paper. I do not respect their dishonest business practice, several aspects of the RV that I was less experienced in evaluating were given a glowing recommendation by them, and ALL of those aspects have turned out to be defective, damaged, and in need of serious repairs. There are other RV dealerships in the area that value honesty and establishing a long-term relationship with their customer base. They understand that if you treat a customer right and level with them, they’ll get repeat business. Thatcher RV does not operate like this. They know they’ll only get you once, and they don’t care. They’ll say anything to make a sale. I have no idea how they are still in business. Run away and go somewhere else- anywhere else!
