Gregory Martin McLeod was born on the same day Jesus was born, December 25. He was a shy kid, but he lacked discipline. He was later diagnosed with bipolar disorder. His mental struggles kept pushing him over the edge and in turn, he ended up taking the support of drugs and alcohol. Addicted by the age of 14, he could no longer hang out with kids his age. He craved the company of men much older than him as they made him feel protected. It was during his 10th time of being in a rehab, where he finally experienced his spiritual awakening, which ultimately inspired him to write his book.
