The Cataract and Glaucoma Center, Dr. Louis Alpern, and Dr. Lawrence Tafoya are now part of the Southwest Eye Institute!

Dr. Alpern founded the Cataract and Glaucoma Center in 1978 and has been at the forefront of technological solutions in eye care since then. Dr. Lawrence Tafoya joined Dr. Alpern in 2017. They became an affiliate of the Southwest Eye Institute, the area's most comprehensive eye group, in October of 2020.
