About us
The Humane Society's Pets Fur People, formerly the Humane Society of East Texas, is a life sustaining animal sanctuary in Tyler. We are a non-profit organization and our mission is to provide proper shelter and care for unwanted dogs and cats, as well as teach responsible pet ownership. We are dedicated to preventing euthanasia and we promote the positive results of spay/neuter programs to reduce dog and cat overpopulation. Dogs and cats are available for adoption.
