About us

The Karma Sauce Company makes artisinal handcrafted sauces using only premium ingredients. It was founded in 2010 after the company founder, craving a flavorful everyday sauce during a locavore challenge, combined local ingredients like butternut squash and sweet potato to create his own hot sauce. The response of his neighbors and family to his concoction encouraged him to turn the sauce into a business.

Since its founding, Karma Sauce products have taken home more than 100 awards from prestigious hot sauce competitions throughout the country. Karma Sauce has been featured prominently on the hit show Hot Ones, and one of the shows signature sauces, Los Calientes, is produced by the Karma Sauce company in conjunction with Heatonist.

The company grows many of its ingredients on its own pepper farm in Bristol, New York. The ingredients are then sent to the Karma Sauce micro-factory, located in downtown Rochester, for processing.
