Toby Thien Tran is a liar and dishonest lawyer. The price he charged for the eviction case is very high, $1800 compare to the other lawyers $800.
Before I hired him as my lawyer, he always returned my call. He had promised me to do my case the next day when he receives the payment, and WANTS THE PAYMENT TO BE PAID IN CASH OR DEBIT CARD ONLY. I did make a big mistake to trust and gave cash to him because I thought he could perform my unlawful detainer case asap as he had promised. After he received the money, he didn't do any work, didn’t return my calls or text messages.
In 10 days he did not return any of my phone calls only replied with two emails and with excuse after another he didn’t start to process as promised.
I called him to cancel the contract. This is what he charged me for listening to my messages left in his voice mail to request an update, for reading my emails after not receiving his voice responses, for doing thing after he received our contract termination message...
