What separates me from a typical massage therapist is my approach to massage. While I am trained in all the classical modalities, I believe massage is much more than just applying those techniques to every body as if they have all the same problems. The work I do is truly therapeutic bodywork. Most of the techniques I use are hybrid techniques I’ve developed with the goal of realigning the body and creating better posture. I use a combination of deep tissue techniques, myofascial release, PNF stretches and sports massage to give each individual body the relief it needs. I have an extensive knowledge of how the body works, and more importantly how it can lead to pain when it is working incorrectly. It’s this knowledge that truly separates me from the pack. Every massage I offer is tailored to the specific individual. Every body is different and has it’s own set of problems. My goal for every massage is to be the catalyst to let the body begin healing itself. Massage is not a luxury, it’s essential to living a stress and pain free life.
