The Specialists began in 1976 as a single store in Tucson, Arizona called Auto Stereo Specialists with three employees. Our emphasis even then was a passion for quality installation and top-notch products. Fast forward to 1986 when The Specialists, Inc. was spun from the original company to become the premier destination for award-winning sound systems drawing customers form Texas, Southern California, and even deep into Mexico. The company grew always adhering to the culture of quality products, flawless installation and relentless customer service. Over the years, the Specialists have been honored by trade publications, manufacturers, civic organizations and charities. Awards like "Best of the Best", "Retailer of the Year", "High-Performance Award", "Award of Excellence" all dominate the trophy case at the Specialists Corporate offices. The Specialists maintain that "brick and mortar" feel with personal Customer Service and strict attention to detail.
