I was at the Spot 11/19/08 and I could not be more annoyed by the service that I received. The waitress felt free to write in my manditory 18% gratuity for a party of 4 at lunch time, who she assumed was attached to a bigger party at a separate table. When confronted with this rude act, a short little nasty waitress with too much attitude for her short little body, decides to come over and defend her actions by saying we were part of the bigger group. Not only did our group ask the waitress to be on a different bill, we sat in a booth away from the party. She was out of line. Well, when we asked to speak to the manager, the manager was just a unprofessional with a sarcastic and uncaring tone. She sounded like she was repeating exactly what she read out of her how to be manager guide. Well, after all this, we were not going to leave anything. We cancelled the card purchase and paid with cash. For this ridiculous display of what they'd like to call serivice, we decided the service...

I was at the Spot today and the wait staff couldn't have been more rude. I won't go into detail about what a B$#ch the waitress was or how the manager didn't really care because I don't have all day to type a review of what needs to happen to improve their service. Just know that the Spot is somewhere I will never go again and I strongly recommend that you don't either. If you want to find out for yourself go ahead, you will see that everything that I typed and what Lorene L. typed are true.

Disaster!!!!!!!!!!
Bartender didn't know how to make a Manhattan...No cherry, no vermouth. My son was served fried shrimp and not clams, as was ordered. The waitress picked up a shrimp from the plate with her FINGERS, and said “that’s clams”, obviously she doesn't have a clue about seafood. I ordered chicken cordon bleu and it came deep fried and burnt. You couldn't even cut it with a knife and any chef knows that you don't fry chicken cordon bleu. My daughter ordered a kids dinner from the kids menu and when we got the bill I had to speak to the manager because they charged everything separate on the kids menu . Like, $2.49 for a small glass of milk and $1.49 for a Dixie cup ice cream which was all suppose to be included. I reordered and returned my chicken and got a hamburger which came with tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and I asked for a slice of raw onion. When I was finally served my hamburger I asked for mayo and never got it. But the SMALL piece of onion cost me 75cents extra....
