Mr. O'Dell and Mr. Houston are members of a full contact stick fighting organization called "The Dog Brothers" and personal students under the guiding force of the organization - Guro Marc "Crafty Dog" Denny". As instructors we participate in full contact events to better understand the truth behind combat and then apply the motto, "We learn. We teach. We share."

We believe in teaching through positive reinforcement. In this way we promote the good and discourage the bad while keeping instruction fun, fit, and functional.

While the main focus will always be on realistic self-defense, we do offer opportunities to participate in tournaments and competitions.

A systematic teaching progression, feedback on individual achievement, rank and recognition are all achieved through the implementation of a belt system. Every student progresses at their own rate. In addition to our martial art instruction we offer personal training to students and non-students alike. Mr. Houston and Mr. O'Dell are certified personal trainers and spent several years teaching at one of the "big box" gyms.
