The Whale & Ale
Reviews
If you want something unique to do, pop on down to the quaint Whale and Ale British Pub! I recently discovered this diamond in the rough and was pleasantly surprised at what it has to offer. On Friday evenings it seems you never know what to expect in the entertainment department, the piano player takes requests, the violin player will be there, the trumpet player may turn up, a singer may appear and a guitarist may join in too. Sometimes it's a full-on jam!
As far as the food, I have not been dissapointed yet! They have a huge menu, from a burger to a rack of lamb, hard to choose! I love the salad dressing which is apparently a homemade recipe. You can't beat the fish and chips, and the beef Wellington my friend tried was amazingly tender and perfectly cooked. I had the seabass on my last visit and it was melt in the mouth delicious. I can't leave anymore without having the sticky toffee pud, omg!
There must be 10 beers on tap including my favorite, Boddingtons, but there is...
