Dr. Wael Abdelghani specializes in the surgical and medical management of vitreous, retina, and macula diseases at his practice, The Woodlands Retina Center in The Woodlands, Texas. His devotion to providing the highest quality care to his patients is backed by his commitment to offering state-of-the-art therapies. He has a special interest in sutureless (no stitches) vitrectomy, microsurgical techniques for macular surgery, and the pharmacological treatment of age-related macular degeneration.Dr. Abdelghani received his medical degree from Alexandria University then went on to complete his residency in ophthalmology at the renowned Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
