Thomas J. Price, MD, is a distinguished cardiologist with a passion for understanding and treating heart disease. He sees patients at Northwell Health Physician Partners at Yonkers, 1034 North Broadway, Yonkers, NY. bringing his more than 35 years of expertise to the community. Dr. Price's academic journey began at Dartmouth College, where he pursued a degree in biology and excelled in intercollegiate football and lacrosse. This formative experience ignited his lifelong interest in the cardiovascular health of both serious and casual athletes. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Price completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Harlem Hospital Center. Further specializing his skills, he completed a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Harlem Hospital Center in affiliation with Columbia University. Dr. Price is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine/Cardiovascular Disease, demonstrating his commitment to the highest standards of patient care. Prior to joining Northwell Health, Dr. Price served as the Associate Director of Cardiology at Montefiore Mt. Vernon Hospital, where he honed his leadership and clinical skills. His dedication to advancing cardiac care and his perspective on hypertension, hyperlipidemia, ischemic heart disease and sports cardiology, make him a valuable asset to his patients and the medical community. He has a core belief that exercise is an important medicine for most ailments. He practices what he preaches by riding his road bike 40-80 miles per week.
