About us

I graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1969 and started with the system in a year long rotating internship before completing my residency in 1973.

I was the Ob/Gyn Residency programs first full-time faculty member. I have served the department in the following roles:

1973–2007 Medical Director of Obstetrical Clinics
1973–Present Attending Physician Obstetrical Clinics
1989–1991 Interim Program Director
1990–1991 Interim Academic Chairman
1993–1996 Director of Medical Student Education
1995–2007 Academic Vice Chairman
2008–2012 Vice Chairman of Community Affairs
My interests include access to Ob/Gyn care for medically underserved women; philanthropy and resident education.
