Network Marketing Again For The Very First Time

There’s a poem that ends with the idea that it is only when you return back to the starting line of a journey do you really see that place for the first time. That’s how it is right now for me. For three years, I had been on my network marketing journey. I had had some success, a bit more failings and many more lessons. Like many of us, I finally quit and for a year, settled back into the world of the steady paycheck and the even more steady feeling of frustration, lack of freedom and all topped with a nagging reminder of wasted potential. Well the heck with that. I have decided to come back and what I bring with me is not four wasted years, but rather much experience that, if I look and consider carefully, can actually help me begin again with new eyes and a different focus. For instance:

Instead of desiring to get rich quickly, I now desire to take my time to build rich relationships.
Instead of seeing “selling” as a method of aggressively changing people’s minds and having them serve my purpose and plans, I now see selling as a way to serve people by bringing potential value into their lives.
Instead of talking so much, I will ask real questions and really listen.
Instead of having a goal of personally recruiting an army of people, I am now focused on finding, sponsoring and teaching a dedicated handful of future leaders.
So here I am, back at the beginning. Back at the starting line; on a new journey with a new company, already surrounded by good, like-minded people who support my hard work and success. Yes, here I am again but for the very first time.
