About us
Timothy R Owens, MD, board-certified neurosurgeon, sees patients at Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Neurosurgery in Brunswick, Georgia. As a neurosurgeon, Dr Owens treats disorders of the brain and spine, including tumors, bleeds, trauma, degenerative spine disease, and spinal cord compression.
According to Dr Owens, his approach to patient care is simple. “When I have a patient before me, I try to picture the advice I would give to my own family member and that is how I treat each of my patients,” he says.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, Dr Owens earned his master’s degree in biomedical science at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.
