The first time I went there, I dropped off a pair of sandals to have them replace 2 tiny elastic bands. They said they won't know the cost until after it's fixed, but the lady assured me that it'll be a good price and not expensive.
She lied. When I went to pick up my shoes, she said the total was $20. $20 for a 2 tiny elastic bands that I could have sewn on myself? When I said that I could buy a new pair of shoes with that, the same lady said, No you can't. Shoes are $200 and $300! I'm guessing she's never bought shoes.
I talked to the owner and all she could say was how the shoe repair company charged them that much so I HAD to pay. What was ironic was that obviously the shoe company charged them less than $20 and the cleaners was just trying to make a profit. I don't blame them for that, but I do blame them for being illogical, dishonest scammers who charge ridiculously high for their services.
