Couldn't get the broiler off or the oven on -- something had fused in the controls. Top Miami Beach AC Repair, who had previously demonstrated a strong knowledge of all kinds of appliances as well as a deep respect for older, more solidly built machines, was lovely -- actually able to fix an elderly clothes washer so that it's held up for years longer, and managing to get the oven essentially functional just before Christmas, when there was no chance of replacing the thing before the family Christmas dinner. What a lifesaver! Or at least a holiday-saver!
