For over 30 years, Town & Country Animal Hospital has been serving the needs of pets and their owners in Northern Virginia and the Washington metropolitan area. Our services consist of the following: Preventative Care: (check ups, vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, routine bloodwork, and heartworm prevention). Regular check ups and vaccinations not only encourage optimum health and helpt prevent illness, they also give our staff greater insight into your pet's unique needs. Surgery: (Spay/Neuter, Dental Cleaning and/or extractions, Declawing, Soft Tissue Removal, Some Orthopedics). Our highly skilled surgeons employ the most advanced techniques, state-of-the-art surgical suites, and the safest anesthesia available. Post-surgery, an experienced and caring staff member will sit with your pet during the recovery period. For your convenience, surgeries are scheduled Monday through Friday. Boarding: (Routine boarding for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and other small pets, bathing and grooming, examination and vaccines given prior to kennel boarding, daily walks for dogs provided upon request) Our modern kennel facility is available for routine boarding of dogs, cats, and small animals. Grooming: (Bathing, medicated baths, flea dips, Sanitary clip, brushing, dematting, ear cleaning, nail trim, teeth brushing) For your convenience, we offer professional grooming of all breeds of dogs and cats. Doctor-supervised sedation groomings are available if necessary. On-site Pharmacy: (Preventive medications, Thyroid medications, High Blood Pressure medications, etc). For all your pet's need, we offer the convenience of an on-site pharmacy. One stop total pet health care for your unique pet. Digital Radiography and Ultrasounds: Convenient on-site digital x-rays and ultrasounds for the highest technology in diagnostic testing. Digital x-rays cut down on the waiting time for x-ray films and keep your pet's stress levels at an all-time low - no need to keep your pet on the x-ray table for extended periods of time.
