About us

Troy M. Stump, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Community Medical Associates. He earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Galen College of Nursing in Louisville, and his master’s degree in nursing with a focus on family nurse practitioner studies at Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights. He is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Troy’s clinical interests include chronic disease management, preventive care, and mental health, with a focus on holistic approaches to health care. His experience includes primary care clinics, rural health clinics and community health organizations. Troy’s philosophy of care is centered on health education and empowerment. He strives to provide patients with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health.

Outside of work, Troy enjoys spending time with his family, kayaking and mountain biking. He values a balanced lifestyle and aims to lead by example in both his personal and professional life.
