About us
Board-certified surgeon T. Wayne Rentz Jr., MD, received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, and completed an internship and general surgery residency at the U.S. Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA. He is a member of the Society of Breast Surgeons, the Southern Surgical Society, the Medical Association of Georgia, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has special expertise in skin-sparing mastectomy and sentinel node biopsies for breast cancer.
