About us
UMFS is a nonprofit agency that provides a comprehensive array of programs to meet the needs of high-risk children and parents to enable them to overcome challenging circumstances and succeed. The Richmond Campus is UMFS' main base for foster care, residential treatment, adoption, private day school for specialized education and community-based services. Our Charterhouse School serves both day students from the greater Richmond area and students who live at the Child & Family Healing Center.
