About us
Calarco has written eight books about the Underground Railroad, more than any living author. He also has written a biography of Orson S. Murray, who participated and wrote about it in one of the newspapers that he published. Calarco has studied it for more than 30 years and traveled extensively through more of the states and Canada, visiting and researching sites. While not known for fantasy writing, it has been said that Calarco’s fantasy novel is his best work.
