The National Guard ensures financial support for your education, with benefits like state tuition waivers, federal tuition assistance, and monthly stipends through the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP).

The ROTC program at the University of Utah is designed to build leadership, discipline, and confidence. Students can serve part-time in the National Guard while completing their studies, allowing them to gain real-world experience in leadership and teamwork. Upon graduation, cadets are commissioned as officers in the Army, with the flexibility to choose between active duty, the Army Reserve, or the National Guard.
