24/7 care most weekends, please call ahead for availability. VCA Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists (GLVS) is one of the region’s top emergency and specialty facilities. Our board-certified veterinarians and nurses specialize in handling a wide-range of emergent situations, including critical care. Our ICU, staffed 24/7, is led by one of Ohio’s only board-certified criticalists. We partner with general practitioners, whose patients require specialized care. Our departments include Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Emergency and Critical Care, Radiology, and Dentistry, led by one of only two board-certified veterinary dentists in Ohio. Our team is dedicated to offering compassionate and thorough care.
