His cardiovascular fellowship was served at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to joining Piedmont Heart, Dr. Polsani completed a multi-modality cardiovascular imaging fellowship with level III training in Cardiac MRI, Echocardiography and level II training in Cardiac CTA and Nuclear cardiology at Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Polsani is ABIM board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases. He is also Board certified in Cardiac CTA, nuclear cardiology and clinical lipidology. Dr. Polsani is a member of American college of cardiology (ACC), American Heart Association (AHA), American society of echocardiography (ASE), Society of cardiovascular magnetic resonance (SCMR) and national lipid association (NLA). Dr. Polsani is the Chief of Cardiovascular Imaging Center of Excellence (COE) for Piedmont Healthcare and the Director of cardiovascular MRI and CTA for Piedmont Heart Institute. Dr. Polsani's research interests are in cardiovascular MRI, cardiac CTA and 3D-echocardiography and their specific applications in valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease and infiltrative cardiomyopathies.
