The Vermont Crafts Council's annual meeting was held last week at the White River Craft Center in Randolph, VT. One of the members was fascinated by this hanging chime at the center. Preparations were discussed for the annual spring Open Studio Tour scheduled for May 24 and 25 throughout the state. Maps are available at Vermont Artisan Designs in Brattleboro.

Watercolor artist John Dimick, whose painting of Flat and Main in downtown Brattleboro is seen here, will be one of the featured artists for the month of May at Vermont Artisan Designs. During Gallery Walk on Friday night, May 2, he will be working on a new painting of Taylor for Flowers in the gallery's front window.
