Dr. Daniel E. Walzman is a board-certified neurosurgeon in Hackensack, NJ, with fellowship subspecialized training in cerebrovascular disorders, endovascular neurosurgery, and interventional neuroradiology. He provides comprehensive cranial and spinal neurosurgical care, with a particular interest in treating spinal trauma. Dr. Walzman was the first physician in Bergen County to utilize the Merci retrieval device for ischemic strokes and holds 10 U.S. patents for novel medical devices. He serves as Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Walzman is accepting new patients at New Jersey Brain and Spine in Hackensack.
