Washburn Academy is a private school in Clearwater, FL which teaches grades K1-12. Washburn Academy is licensed to use Applied Scholastics (APS) educational services and materials.
Washburn Academy's mission is to provide a strong academic education and prepare students for life. This includes opening all academic doors via dual enrollment and college scholarships as well as important life skills including taxes. Washburn Academy's curriculum is geared to teach concepts, rather than facts, so that the student will grasp the key fundamentals of a subject - and thus be able to apply that which was learned to any particulars. Washburn Academy unique program was designed to instill core values such as: leadership, perseverance, competence, self-discipline, responsibility, and sportsmanship.
