About Wausau Comprehensive Treatment Center Located in Wausau, Wisconsin, Wausau Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for people age 18 and older of all genders. Our Wausau clinic uses a number of medications, including methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, and naltrexone, to reduce the effects of withdrawal and eliminate cravings for opioids. It has been proved that people who take part in MAT achieve better recovery outcomes than those who don’t use medications like methadone or other opioid agonists and partial agonists.
