About us

Dr. Whitney Deitz is a compassionate general dentist at Aspen Dental in Owensboro, Kentucky. She earned her DMD and completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Dr. Deitz is passionate about restoring smiles and loves seeing the moment patients recognize themselves again. She believes that how you feel when you smile truly matters, regardless of age, background, or ability, and she strives to say “yes” when patients have often been told “no.” Notably, Dr. Deitz helped create The Smile Bridge, providing cost-free care for children with hypohydrotic ectodermal dysplasia, and completed dentures for the youngest patient in the world at age two. She received the 2024 Denobi Award for access to care and was a guest on Living to 100 in 2025. Outside the office, she enjoys life on her farm with her husband and three daughters, gardening, flower arranging, Disney adventures, and Southern cooking-extra gravy included.
