About us
Dr Bethea has a passion for patient-centered care and specializes in medical and surgical dermatology with emphasis on the treatment of skin cancer. The Ormond Beach native earned his BS from the University of Florida and while matriculating through medical school at Nova Southeastern University was elected to the Health Professions Scholarship Program and commissioned by the U.S. Air Force. Dr Bethea served meritoriously as an active-duty Flight Surgeon in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom and took great pride in serving the medical needs of military men and women. He was chief resident at Michigan State University/Oakwood Southshore Medical Center, became a national lecturer, and published several dermatologic articles.
